This position is responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet trays to health center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Serves meals in the health center pantries. </li><li>Washes silver, glass, china in dish machines in pantries as per regulation. </li><li>Provides health center snacks and supplements per diet orders. </li><li>Maintains stock and sanitation levels in coffee and juice machines in dining rooms. </li><li>Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order. </li><li>Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously. </li><li>Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service. </li><li>Ensures that orders match Physician's diet orders. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions. </li><li>Ability to plan and organize work set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards. </li><li>Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.
