<p>OVERVIEW</p> <p>Alera Group is looking for an Account Specialist. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support service requests by assisting with carrier submissions, reviewing quotes, preparing proposals, processing endorsements, audits, certificates, claims, and binders</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct contract reviews for insurance compliance and perform final policy checks, premium allocations, and premium financing arrangements</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in completing Acord forms and quoting small business policies online</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure timely, professional follow-ups with clients, carriers, producers, and team members</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate client records and correspondence in systems like Sagitta, ImageRight, and Indio</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in renewal meetings, maintain required certifications, complete training, and stay updated on carrier underwriting guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Help train and mentor Account Assistants and perform other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years industry experience </li><li>Resident State's Agents License </li><li>Industry related certifications preferred </li><li>College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</p> <p>This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.</p> <p>Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits to our colleagues, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off and much more.</p> <p>Salary range is $50K to 60K per year.</p> <p>We're an equal opportunity employer.
