<p>Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Ekton, MD branch. We are looking for a Rental Yard Operations Assistant with experience preferred in the heavy-duty truck and/or trailer industry. We offer competitive salary, excellent medical, vision & dental benefits, paid vacation and 401k and profit-sharing plan.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Process rental reservations. </li><li>Conduct inbound and outbound inspections. </li><li>Road call management for rental units, including customer and vendor communications. </li><li>Develop and maintain vendor relationships including negotiation and procurement. </li><li>Coordinate rental equipment deliveries/pickups and movement between branches. </li><li>Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships with existing and new customers. </li><li>Interface with corporate accounting and administration, as well as other branch locations as needed. </li><li>Maintain inventory and insurance audits. </li><li>Provide clear communication with customers regarding unit damage and insurance issues. </li><li>Comply with the Company's safety program. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in the heavy-duty truck/trailer/transportation industry is preferred. </li><li>Must at times work outdoors in all weather conditions. </li><li>Must have excellent communication skills. </li><li>Must by detail oriented, and able to handle multi-tasking regularly. </li><li>Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. </li><li>Must have good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office. </li><li>Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test. </li></ul>
