<p>Job Title:</p> <p>Facility Maintenance and Front Desk Associate (Non-exempt, hourly)</p> <p>Reports To:</p> <p>General Manager</p> <p>Job Purpose</p> <p>This title reflects the dual responsibilities of maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facilit6y while also handling basic front desk duties. It encapsulates the core responsibilities outlined the job description and provides a clear indication of the toles scope and function within the organization.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensures club is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned area and equipment. Will perform wet and dry mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, shower and sauna cleaning, vacuuming, and general cleaning. </li><li>Perform some basic front desk responsibilities, such as answering the telephone, answering basic member questions, and providing tours for prospective members and guests. </li><li>Develop and maintain positive relationships with other club staff, members, and guests. </li><li>Operate related motorized and non-motorized cleaning equipment. </li><li>Records and reports all needed repairs; repairs as directed. </li><li>Ensures facility is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor. </li><li>Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies. </li><li>Maintains laundry (towels) to ensure consistent supply for members. </li><li>Open and close the facility, including arming and disarming alarm system. </li><li>May set up furniture for events. </li><li>All other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Communication Skills: Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills </li><li>Ability to work successfully as an individual and on a team </li><li>Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties. </li><li>Ability to multi-task in a high demand, fast paced environment. </li><li>Ability to work with paint, cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol forms. </li><li>Ability to work in conditions that will create dirt and dust. </li><li>Ability to perform essential cleaning maintenance to facility or equipment which may involve, but not limited to the following activities: semi-reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; shoveling; carrying; working in narrow and/or confining spaces: underground, overhead, and at ground level; twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs; lying on stomach and/or back; and stand for an extended period of time. </li><li>Flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work assignments. </li><li>Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and members. </li><li>Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment. </li><li>Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use </li><li>Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents. </li><li>Ability to report and record maintenance requests. </li><li>Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma required. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Six months or more of related experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Frequent walking, standing, running, lifting, and bending. </li><li>Regular lifting of moderate to heavy weights. </li></ul> <p>Direct Reports</p> <p>None.</p> <p>Statement of Notices</p> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity</p> <p>BPG Real Estate Services, LLC, provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without regard to race, creed, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, sexual preference, or non-disqualifying physical or mental handicap or disability in each aspect of the human resources function.</p> <p>Americans with Disability Act</p> <p>Applicants as well as associates who are or become disabled must be able to perform the essential job functions either unaided or with reasonable accommodation.
