The Jones-Harrison community offers Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care with a beautiful view of Cedar Lake and pristine grounds. This community features 53 Assisted living, 9 memory care apartments, 120 skilled and long term care beds. Ebenezer is looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would be responsible for providing personal cares, passing medications, and designated health related services to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents' physical and emotional well-being! Position is located in Minneapolis, MN at our beautiful care center- in the Assisted Living unit of Jones-Harrison. NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old. Great schedule for a nursing or healthcare or premed student! This caregiver schedule includes: 60 hours every two weeks Day shift Every other weekend rotation Full Benefits package; https://www.ebenezercares.org/employee-benefits (matching retirement) Cash Out Wages Before Payday with our New Benefit of Early Wage Access! Responsibilities: Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts. Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse. May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities. Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff Assists with onboarding of new staff Required: CNA certificated only required if under 18 years old Preferred: Ability to communicate optimally, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers Ability to work in a team setting and support others Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course Previous work experience as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA Join our dedicated team and contribute to our mission of helping seniors heal, discover, and lead longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives.
