The EMT Trainee will assist staff with patient or non-patient duties as assigned while attending an approved EMT Basic Course.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Attends an approved BSMH approved EMT Basic course while employed.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete weekly assignments as assigned (e.g., maintains proper reports and records, observes the dispatch center, and shadows leaders, maintenance for vehicle and equipment, orders and stocks supplies, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in mandatory trainings (e.g., ambulette training, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC), first aid, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Partners with EMT Basic for patient transports.</p> </li></ul> <p>This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
