<p>Our customer, an Amlaw 100 firm, is seeking a Commercial Contracts Attorney for a secondment role at its leading technology company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to gain hands-on experience supporting complex commercial transactions and internal process development.</p> <p>Start Date: August end</p> <p>Duration: 4 months</p> <p>Location: Candidates can be remote, but ideally able to visit the office in Los Angeles a few times, would be preferred. For other locations, you must reside and be licensed in one of the following states: WA, DC, OR, CA, AZ, IL, TX, AK, WI, NY, CO, ID</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including: Global purchase agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), Software license agreements, Sponsored research agreements. </li><li>Triage and respond to business inquiries related to contracting needs. </li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and refine SOPs for legal and business operations. </li><li>Provide sound legal and business judgment in support of strategic initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Juris Doctor (JD) degree and must reside and be licensed in one of the following states: WA, DC, OR, CA, AZ, IL, TX, AK, WI, NY, CO, ID. </li><li>Minimum 2-5 years of legal experience, preferably in a corporate or technology-focused environment. </li><li>Strong drafting and negotiation skills across multiple agreement types. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. </li><li>Quick learner with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Based in Southern California, with ability to attend occasional in-person meetings. </li><li>Experience developing SOPs for legal or business teams. </li><li>Interest in emerging technologies or innovative business models </li></ul> <p>To apply:</p> <p>If you are qualified, interested, and available, please send 1) your WORD version resume and 2) an email stating why you are a good fit for this position to sajoli.singhal@elevate.law</p> <p>ElevateFlex provides an unparalleled platform for you to work with innovative companies and law firms worldwide on various exciting and challenging roles.
