<p>Job Description</p> <p>Title: Warehouse Manager</p> <p>Reports to: Vice President of Operations</p> <p>Summary: Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the storage and distribution of materials and products for the company using lean methodologies.</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <p>Manage the activities of the direct report Associates engaged in receiving, storing and shipping</p> <p>products and materials.</p> <ul> <li>Train and coach new associates on all Innovize teams in shipping, receiving, and inventory fundamentals that pertain to their position. </li><li>Manage and evaluate all outgoing sales orders to customers to verify they are accurate. </li><li>Ensure Level I and Level 2 incoming inspections are accurate and completed in a timely manner. </li><li>Ensure the Value Streams have all necessary materials to complete jobs by the due date or information is communicated on missing materials before they are needed. </li><li>Respond to all questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services. </li><li>Responsible for investigating all inventory discrepancies regarding warehouse material. </li><li>Manage and handle offsite material storage and coordination. </li><li>Inspect physical conditions of warehouses and order maintenance, repair or replacement as necessary. </li><li>Coordinate 5's events with each Value Stream to maximize and assist production goals. </li><li>Manage and perform monthly customer reports and physical inventory audits. </li><li>Evaluate freight costs to ensure Innovize is receiving the highest possible service, while reducing the overall shipping costs for Innovize and Innovize customers. </li><li>Schedule warehouse cycle counts to ensure accurate inventories. </li><li>Responsible for locating and isolating all expired and damaged material with nonconformances. </li><li>Prepare and meet dollar variance goals for quarterly inventory audits. </li><li>Manage and report daily shipping and receiving metrics in vitals. </li><li>Meet corporate guidelines for retention and development of A, B and C players. </li><li>Seek internal or external training for personal development with courses, books, seminars, </li></ul> <p>peer groups, or conferences to apply to your role.</p> <p>Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Make and maintain safety improvements within the Warehouse. </li><li>Ensure inventory accuracy goals are met. </li><li>Ensure on time delivery goals are met. </li><li>Accountable for performance management of direct associates. </li><li>Ensure assigned projects goals are met. </li><li>Accountable for achieving successful work habit verifications with no findings. </li><li>Ensure all required learning and development for self and direct reports is current. </li></ul> <p>Training/Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years' experience with shipping and receiving in a warehouse environment. </li><li>Previous supervisory experience. </li><li>Previous inventory control experience in a warehouse environment. </li><li>Experience working in a contract manufacturing environment. </li><li>Strong ERP system experience, Epicor software preferred. </li><li>Proficient PC skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). </li><li>Work experience and or training preferred. </li><li>Medical device regulatory environment experience a plus. </li><li>Forklift driving experience and certification required. </li></ul> <p>Competencies/Talents/Personal Attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Good communication skills both written and verbal. </li><li>Proven ability to effectively communicate directly with suppliers and customers. </li><li>Proficient organizing, planning and work prioritization skills. </li><li>Has working know of lean practices. </li><li>Excellent coaching and counseling skills. </li><li>Can speak, understand and write English. </li></ul> <p>Evidence of Success: (Must be limited to two statements and must focus on critical HISTORICAL work performance of potential applicants. These should be the absolute top two items that are critical for the selected for hire applicant must be able to show previous work historical success with.)</p> <ul> <li>Historical success of scheduling warehouse cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels. </li><li>Evidence of having accurate and timely communication with other teams regarding discrepancies in shipment or material. </li></ul>
