<p>Northport VAMC is looking for a full-time Non-Invasive Board Certified Cardiologist. Northport VA Medical Center supports the Network 2 Mission to care for our Veterans with compassion and excellence.</p> <p>EDRP Authorized: Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply for the incentive</p> <p>Duties:</p> <p>The Northport VA Healthcare System is seeking an experienced, full-time non-invasive Cardiologist (M.D. or D.O.) who is board-certified. Duties include overseeing all aspects of cardiac care delivered to referred patients and participating in daily ambulatory/outpatient Cardiology clinic services at our Northport VA Healthcare Systems VA Medical Center. The Cardiologist will consult, manage, and provide education and counseling of Veterans in preventative care and apply evidence-based care for various cardiac conditions while supervising comprehensive outpatient cardiac procedures. The facility can perform a wide variety of outpatient Cardiology services, including EKG and Arrhythmia monitoring interpretation, echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms, Transesophageal echocardiograms, and cardioversions. The Cardiologist will establish a professional relationship with clinical service providers within the outpatient center, provide telephone and curbside consultations, and screen consultative and procedural requests for appropriateness.</p> <p>VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
