<p>MTSS Coordinator</p> <p>By Jessica Guzik|August 15th, 2025|</p> <p>Location</p> <p>Blaine School District</p> <p>765 H Street</p> <p>Blaine, WA 98230</p> <p>Google Map</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position will support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support services at the school level for Blaine School District. The MTSS Coordinator will provide training and coaching to district and school leads and teams to support their capacity in implementing a Multi-tiered System of Supports in their local schools. The MTSS Coordinator will help district staff and school staff implement MTSS with fidelity using the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (or similar measure) at the school level, and assist the district providing the necessary supports for their school buildings to implement MTSS with fidelity for integrated social emotional, academic learning, and behavior at tiers one, two, and three.</p> <p>Full job description</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience at the school, district, state, or regional level using data to result in changed outcomes for staff and students. Master's in education, counseling, psychology, or other social science preferred. WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance required. Valid Washington State driver's license and proof of liability insurance required.</p> <p>Employment Conditions and Benefits</p> <p>This position will support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support services at the school level for Blaine School District.</p> <p>8 hours per day, Monday - Friday, 190 days per year.</p> <p>Additional compensation equal to 4% of annual salary shall be provided to individuals possessing a currently valid Washington State teaching certificate.</p> <p>Benefits Include: Medical Insurance; Dental and Vision insurance with 100% paid premiums for employee and eligible dependents; Annual Paid Leave - (12) Sick days, (1) Floating Holiday, Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty Leave; Tuition Reimbursement; Long Term Disability, Basic Life Insurance; WA State Dept. of Retirement Systems Membership - Teachers' Retirement System (TRS) or Schools Employees' Retirement System (SERS); Deferred Compensation Program offering 457 deferred savings plan; Flexible Spending Accounts for medical and dependent care; Voluntary Employees' Benefits Association (VEBA) participation; Employee Assistance Program; professional development opportunities</p> <p>Work is performed in an office environment; however, travel may be required for workshops or conference attendance. Lifts and carries a maximum of 30 pounds. Adequate manual and finger dexterity, hearing, speech, and vision are necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.</p> <p>Hazards: Those present in a normal office environment. Lifting and moving tables and chairs for workshop setup is a potential hazard if proper safety procedures are not adhered to.
