<p>Job#: 3033270</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Assembler 3</p> <p>Location: Fremont, California (Onsite)</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract</p> <p>Shift Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>This role involves the assembly of wafer fabrication equipment in a clean-room environment. The position requires navigating computer-based work instructions to install parts and hardware using various hand tools and fixtures. The assembler will work within a team to maintain workflow and meet production schedules, responding with flexibility to changing priorities.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Effectively use hand tools, torque wrenches, and fixtures to assemble equipment. </li><li>Read and follow computer-based work instructions and schematics. </li><li>Perform visual inspections of components and verify correct parts are used. </li><li>Work collaboratively in a team to ensure production schedules are maintained. </li><li>Provide flexibility for changing priorities, including rework and pilot projects. </li><li>Document and close assigned tasks, verifying work completion. </li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols, including clean room procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). </li><li>Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Proven dependability, efficiency, and an eye for quality in a manufacturing or assembly setting. </li><li>Ability to operate and use hand tools such as calipers, wrenches, hoists, screwdrivers, and torque wrenches. </li><li>Experience with computer-based data systems and applications. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Flexibility and adaptability to change. </li><li>Proactive with the ability to take initiative. </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position requires working 12-plus hour shifts in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment. Physical requirements include:</p> <ul> <li>Lifting and installing parts up to 35 pounds. </li><li>Frequent kneeling, crouching, and squatting. </li><li>Comfortably scaling a 10-step ladder. </li><li>Ability to distinguish between colors for wire identification. </li><li>Maintaining a clean and organized workspace. </li></ul> <p>This employer is an equal opportunity employer.
