The national honor recognizes the top diverse healthcare executives and organizations influencing public policy, care delivery, and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in their organizations and the industry.</p> <p>Children's Minnesota St. Paul Primary Care Clinic has an opening for a 0.8 FTE Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.</p> <p>The St. Paul clinic is a hospital-based pediatric primary care clinic offering outpatient services to a population of patients (infants through adolescent) from urban and suburban areas of the surrounding metro areas. Families receiving care in the clinic speak a variety of primary languages.</p> <p>The clinic provides a range of services, from well-child care to walk-in care, as well as educational and outreach programs. Providers care for children with complex medical and psychosocial issues, manage acute and chronic childhood illnesses, and provide parental guidance for childhood development and nutrition.</p> <p>We offer wrap-around services in our clinic including Integrated Behavioral Health providers, interpreter services, clinical pharmacist onsite, access to Adolescent Health and Gender health providers, along with resource navigators through a program called Community Connect.</p> <p>In the clinic we see 10,000 - 11,000 visits a year, staffed by 7 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.</p> <p>Advanced practice providers provide a range of services, from well-child care, sports physicals, management of acute and chronic illnesses, and addressing nutritional, developmental, and behavioral concerns.</p> <p>Providers should have a particular interest in providing trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, and culturally-competent care.</p> <p>Advanced practice providers are encouraged to develop areas of specialty focus, some of which have included: lactation consultation, asthma, ADHD assessment and medication management, and adolescent care including contraceptive management.</p> <p>Children's Minnesota offers numerous opportunities for continuous learning and professional development. Additionally, there are chances to engage in teaching students within the clinical setting. These educational opportunities are designed to provide ongoing learning and growth.</p> <ul> <li>Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm (hours worked per week and schedule will depend on the applicant's specific schedule preferences that fit within the clinic needs) </li><li>APPs do not cover call </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/ LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>APRN Requirements:</p> <p>Current MN RN/APRN License. Nationally Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with either the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice preferred.</p> <p>Physician Assistant Requirements:</p> <p>Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Physician Assistant Certification by the NCCPA Certification Board and MN Medical Board license required.</p> <p>Current BLS certification</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>Please click here to view the Physical Demands</p> <p>The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.</p> <p>In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
