<p>PPAC Production Assistant</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Metropolitan School District of Pike Township</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serves as the Technical Director for rental events, supervising and/or performing the functions of audio, visual, video, stage, and other production elements according to rental agreements </li><li>Oversees and assists with load-in and set-up of all technical and stage equipment for rental events </li><li>Remains onsite following rental events until renters have removed all equipment and vacated the facility </li><li>Utilizes best practices for meeting production requirements while ensuring safety and staying within budget limitations; and for the purpose of providing technical arts training for Pike students </li><li>Operates specialized control programs for theatrical lighting instruments, analog and digital sound reproductions systems, counterweight fly rail system, lifts, and a variety of power tools (e.g. table, band, radial arm and compound miter saws; drills, grinders) ensuring safe operation </li><li>Maintains inventory and reporting of equipment usage for each event </li><li>Supervises and monitors the work of contracted staff and student assistants for the purpose of providing technical education in a safe environment </li><li>PPAC Production Assistant will be evaluated by the PPAC Technical Director or PPAC Coordinator </li></ul> <p>Job Classification:</p> <ul> <li>Non-exempt </li><li>Part-time, hourly </li><li>Scheduled on a monthly basis </li><li>PPAC Front of House Assistant will report to and be evaluated by the PPAC Coordinator </li></ul> <p>Please visit our website at www.pike.k12.in.us or http://www.generalasp.com/msdpike/onlineapp/default.aspx to apply for posting #4436 or #4444.</p> <ul> <li>Work schedule: Part-time hourly and scheduled on a monthly basis </li><li>Benefits: No medical, dental, and vision benefits are offered with this position. </li></ul>
