<p>Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining close, continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and the entire property, to secure safety and property assets</p> <p>Job Title: Surveillance Agent</p> <p>Department: Surveillance</p> <p>Reports To: Supervisor Surveillance</p> <p>FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt</p> <p>License Type: Gaming</p> <p>Target Pay: Start - $23.94 One Year - $26.60</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor all areas of the property always, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution </li><li>Utilizes necessary equipment, to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property </li><li>Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the New York State Gaming Commission and ensures strict adherence </li><li>Must be able to pass various tests to include but not limited to all table games and Surveillance system </li><li>Protects casino assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floor </li><li>Participate in confidential internal and external investigations </li><li>Conducts research on subpoena requests from state and federal authority </li><li>Completes daily reports and incident reports to document your activity </li><li>Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports </li><li>Supports other employees, supervisors, and management, regarding protection of assets in their respective departments </li><li>Coordinates, with the Security Department, when Surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English </li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older </li><li>Gaming industry experience preferred </li><li>Ability to identify color (casino tokes are color coded) </li><li>Basic math skills - pre-employment assessment required (add, subtract, multiply and divide) </li><li>High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), some college preferred </li><li>Ability to analyze documents and reports </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to control surveillance tools </li><li>Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds </li><li>Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel </li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays </li><li>Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor </li><li>Exposure to climate environments </li></ul>
