<p>About the job</p> <p>Team Global Express (TGE) is seeking a strategic national leader to drive the development and performance of our driver workforce across Australia.</p> <p>This role goes beyond training delivery - you will strengthen national operational training capability, lift trainer performance, and partner closely with operations and safety to ensure programs deliver both compliance and practical operational outcomes.</p> <p>As the National Driver Training Manager, you will lead the Operational Trainers and Assessor Team setting consistent standards, embedding best practice, and lead and develop a high-performing national team of driver trainers and assessors.</p> <p>You will champion continuous improvement, modernisation, and digital transformation of training frameworks to support a safe, capable and consistent driver workforce through effective training delivery.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead the Operational Trainers and Assessor Team and collaborate with the RTO nationally, ensuring consistent, high-quality training standards across all sites.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and coach a high-performing team of trainers, driving accreditation, capability, and performance excellence.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure training programs are compliant with legislation and safety frameworks, while also enabling practical operational outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with operations and stakeholders to assess workforce needs and implement fit-for-purpose, forward-looking training solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive continuous improvement and modernisation of training frameworks, including digital delivery, assessment tools, and driver training and capability initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Support initiatives such as traineeships, Diversity and inclusion programs to grow a skilled, capable, and consistent operational workforce.</p> </li></ul> <p>About You</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proven national leadership in training or senior trainer management.</p> </li><li> <p>Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) essential; higher qualifications in adult education or VET highly desirable.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong expertise in transport compliance, safety frameworks, and operational performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering accredited and non-accredited training programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong stakeholder management, with a practical, outcomes-focused approach and a track record in continuous improvement and digital modernisation.</p> </li></ul> <p>If this sounds like an opportunity you are interested in - don't wait apply today!</p> <p>About Team Global Express</p> <p>Team Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
