<p>Job Description Summary:</p> <p>Lazer Logistics is looking for a Regional Director that will have P&L responsibility and partners with Corporate Safety, Fleet, HR, and Accounting Officers to ensure that operations meet internal and external standards. The ideal candidate will have senior-level logistics experience, commitment to excellence, and a bias for action.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coaches and develops Regional, Area, and Site Managers </li><li>Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with Customers. </li><li>Conducts business unit assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements. </li><li>Leads to safety performance by developing and promoting procedures and campaigns to eliminate and prevent hazardous behaviors. </li><li>Proactively identifies best practices to reduce driver turnover and ensures that the management team builds strong relationships to improve retention. </li><li>Uses available metrics to monitor and maximize customer deliverables. </li><li>Develops, executes, and assesses continuous improvement programs to ensure that Lazer Spot deploys best practices in yard management solutions. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned to ensure that the operation runs safely, efficiently, and profitably. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Leadership Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to quickly understand P&L issues and identify opportunities for improving financial results </li><li>Exceptional customer service orientation </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities </li><li>Adaptability and resilience </li><li>Ability to build rapport with customers and associates </li><li>Demonstrated sense of ownership and ability to drive change </li><li>Willingness to travel as necessary </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3 years management experience with Lazer Logistics or 5 years outside management experience </li><li>Proven track record in logistics, warehouse, supply chain, transportation, or related field </li><li>Experience with Fortune 500 firms preferred </li></ul>
