<p>General Assembly Launch Industrial Engineer - Working along with Workstation Designers to design workstations which are friendly to operators on the shop floors so that they can produce quality vehicles in the most efficient way. Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve vertical launches for all new programs. Understand production systems and WPI (Work Place Integration) in a comprehensive way. Able to do man-assignments and line balancing in a most efficient and effective approach which minimizes station re-arrangements and causes the least disruptions to the existing production systems. Able to work with Station Designers to design, layout, and optimize workstations for General Assembly Shops in preparation for new program launches in a specified assembly plant. Able to work with WPI Team to piece different aspects of a new program launch together to deliver a vertical launch.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or Equivalent Engineering Degree </li><li>Minimum 1 year of Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering Experiences </li><li>Minimum 1 year of General Assembly Launch Experiences </li><li>Good Understanding of Operators Workstation Designs </li><li>Good Understanding of Man Assignments </li><li>Good Understanding of EST (Engineering Standard Time) </li><li>Excellent in Microsoft Office Applications </li><li>Be able to work with people at different levels and different functions </li><li>Excellent Presentation Skills </li><li>Excellent People Skills </li><li>Self Motivated </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master Degree or Advanced Degree is preferred </li><li>MODPTs Certification </li><li>Extensive GA Industrial Engineering Experiences </li><li>Knowledge and Skills in Autocad / TeamCenter / AMPs </li><li>Knowledge and Experience in WPI (Work Place Integration) - an effective launch process </li></ul>
