<p>Department/Unit:</p> <p>Registration</p> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$47,921.64 - $71,882.46</p> <p>The Patient Access Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for new hire orientation and onboarding. This includes the screening of potential candidates for the Admissions and Access Units and scheduling interviews. In addition, the development of orientation schedules and coordinating the Learning Partner and operational training in the post Hospital Registration Fundamental Training. Facilitating and Monitoring mandatory training requirements are completed and ensuring system and procedural updates are educated.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the screening and scheduling of interviews </li><li>Complete all new hire paperwork and ensure training schedules are completed prior to start date </li><li>Work with ED Patient Access Leadership team to establish onboarding schedule and necessary checkpoint to ensure training is going as expected; includes completing initial orientation to the Emergency Department via the Show Me template </li><li>Work with Quality and Development to ensure registration training is resulting in 100% accuracy prior to operational training sign off for the registration discipline </li><li>Maintain the quality database for the Emergency Department staff complement </li><li>Assist with staffing coverage as needed and workload permits </li><li>Conduct quality auditing for new hires, post completion of each disciplined trained </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>AAS degree in lieu of education 5 - 7 years of experience in hospital or practice registration with training and onboarding experience. </li><li>Proven customer service skill with ability to exceed expectations </li><li>Ability to multi-task in stressful and high patient volume unit; must be able to manage pressure of very tight timeframes to execute task </li><li>Ability to build confidence, raise skill level and promote a productive training and learning environment </li><li>Experience with monitoring data quality, analyzing and trending </li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skill </li><li>Ability to review information and draw appropriate conclusion </li><li>Good judgement and ability to be resourceful to problem solve; escalate issues as needed </li><li>Team minded worth ethic </li></ul> <p>Thank you for your interest in Albany Medical Center!</p> <p>Albany Medical is an equal opportunity employer.</p> <p>This role may require access to information considered sensitive to Albany Medical Center, its patients, affiliates, and partners, including but not limited to HIPAA Protected Health Information and other information regulated by Federal and New York State statutes.
