<p>Position Description:</p> <p>This position provides administrative support to senior leaders and members of the Ameritas Legal and Audit departments. Act as a support liaison interacting with both internal & external stakeholders for the organization. This role will support areas with access to highly confidential information. The ability to maintain confidentiality will be critical for success in this role. This is a highly visible role that requires a high level of professionalism.</p> <p>Position Location:</p> <p>This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home. During the first 90 days of training, this role will be 100% in office. After the initial training period, this role will require 80% of the time in office and 20% of the time can be worked hybrid.</p> <p>What you do:</p> <ul> <li>Manage senior leader calendars, align meetings, schedule appointments, book travel and events, and handle expense reporting to optimize the time of supported leaders allowing them to achieve objectives. </li><li>Screen and direct phone calls, emails, and correspondence appropriately. Draft responses, compose emails, or make calls on behalf of the executive. </li><li>Assist with regulatory filings and legal correspondence. </li><li>Prepare initial and/or updated drafts of memoranda, letters, agreements and other legal documents. </li><li>Arrange and coordinate meetings, including logistics, venue bookings, catering, and technology needs for executive needs and organizational initiatives. </li><li>Assist in the planning and execution of presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and initiatives. </li><li>Organize executive travel, including flights, accommodations, itineraries, contacts, and documents. </li><li>Prepare operations reports for assigned areas. </li><li>Manage expense reporting, invoices, and budget tracking. </li><li>Greet and host high-profile guests such as board members and government officials. </li><li>Use judgement to prioritize competing requests for time/resources from various leaders. </li><li>This position requires the ability to transport various items (including mail, meeting materials, and catering supplies) between multiple meeting rooms within the facility. These meeting rooms may be located several hundred feet apart from each other or from the employee's primary workstation, necessitating regular and frequent movement throughout the building. </li></ul> <p>What you bring:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or G.E.D. required. </li><li>Previous legal assistant experience required. </li><li>2-4 years of related administrative assistant and/or legal assistant experience required. </li><li>Strong experience with Microsoft Office required, with emphasis on Outlook calendar and Excel. </li></ul> <p>What we offer:</p> <p>A meaningful mission.
