<p>Energy Specialist</p> <p>The Office of Energy and Environment within the Ohio Department of Development is presently hiring for an Energy Specialist to join a team of dedicated individuals who help drive Ohio's energy future through innovation, efficiency, and community impact.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Delivering expert guidance on energy efficiency, distributed energy, and advanced energy technologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting and implementing state and federal energy programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducting technical reviews of energy projects and evaluating their impact on energy use, emissions, and productivity.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitoring and evaluating grant-funded projects, including on-site inspections and compliance reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Developing and maintaining program guidelines, technical standards, and training materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Preparing proposals and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including federal agencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Representing the department at meetings, conferences, and training sessions.</p> </li><li> <p>Providing high-quality customer service and fostering collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Completion of undergraduate core program in assigned engineering area (e.g., mechanical, chemical) to include physics & chemistry.</p> </li><li> <p>Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.</p> </li></ul>
