<p>Description</p> <p>Our client is a premium fireplace manufacturer distributing high-end indoor and outdoor fireplace products across North America. We're looking for an experienced operations leader to oversee our order management, warehouse, inventory, and freight logistics functions. This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll manage a team of six and serve as the primary point of contact between our US operations and our headquarters in Israel.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Order Management</p> <p>Oversee end-to-end processing of customer orders for fireplaces and spare parts. Maintain deep product knowledge, track open sales orders, and deliver proactive communication to dealers and customers across our national network.</p> <p>Freight & Logistics</p> <p>Manage LCL (Less than Container Load) international shipments from Israel, prepare customs documentation, coordinate domestic freight, and process parcel shipments via UPS/USPS. Obtain air freight quotes as needed and manage overall US freight costs.</p> <p>Inventory & Warehouse</p> <p>Lead cycle counts and annual inventory audits, manage FIFO-based order fulfillment, issue and track purchase orders to Israel and third-party vendors, and process GRVs. Ensure proper fireplace reservation and availability tracking.</p> <p>Cross-Functional Support</p> <p>Support Regional Sales Managers with customer account data, coordinate logistics for 3-4 trade shows annually, and serve as the US-side operations liaison with Israel. Identify and champion opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>5+ years in operations, logistics, or supply chain management </li><li>Experience with international freight and customs documentation </li><li>Proficiency with ERP or order management systems </li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills </li><li>Demonstrated experience managing small teams </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Background in LCL and container shipping </li><li>Experience with import/customs compliance </li><li>Familiarity with UPS, USPS, and freight carrier systems </li><li>Consumer goods or building products industry experience </li><li>Experience supporting trade shows or special events logistics </li></ul> <p>What Success Looks Like</p> <p>Orders processed accurately and on time</p> <p>Customer shipments delivered on schedule</p> <p>Inventory maintained at optimal levels</p> <p>Dealer questions resolved promptly and professionally</p>
