<p>The Carlisle Sleep Lab is looking for various Sleep Technologists to join their growing and supportive team. Including: Polysomnographic Sleep Tech, Sleep Technologist, Senior Sleep Technologist. Apply today!</p> <p>Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. No holidays manager will explain weekend availability.</p> <p>Training Schedule: Day shift from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. then will transition to nights.</p> <p>The salary range for this position is $22.35 - $39.67 based on experience</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>While utilizing critical thinking and following department policy and procedure under indirect supervision of medical director or designee </li><li>Sleep study preparation including but not limited to review of patient chart, testing order, and proper patient identification </li><li>Sleep study set up including the application of electrodes and sensors according to AASM recommendations with explanation of testing procedure to patient. </li><li>Sleep study procedure </li><li>Perform all aspects of in-center study acquisition with a focus on quality, while delivering exceptional patient care </li><li>Perform all aspects of out of center study acquisition (when applicable) with a focus on quality, while delivering exceptional patient care </li><li>Analyze and score sleep studies </li><li>Clean equipment and patient rooms </li><li>Perform routine equipment maintenance and care </li><li>Inventory and restock lab supplies </li><li>Demonsrtate continued scoring competency with adequate completion of monthly AASM ISR requirement </li><li>Participate in department projects under supervision of lead sleep technologist and manager </li><li>Performs all duties in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li><li>Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the Sleep Technologist Career Ladder, based on their individual experience and education</p> <p>Polysomnographic Sleep Tech:</p> <ul> <li> <p>HS diploma (required)</p> </li><li> <p>6 months relevant experience in an allied-health field (preferred).</p> </li></ul> <p>Sleep Technologist:</p> <ul> <li> <p>HS graduate required.</p> </li><li> <p>Graduate from an education program in polysomnography accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) required.</p> </li><li> <p>Sleep credential from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT), the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT-SDS or RRT-SDS) or the American Board of Sleep Medicine (RST).</p> </li></ul> <p>Senior Sleep Technologist:</p> <ul> <li> <p>HS graduate required.</p> </li><li> <p>Graduate from an education program in polysomnography accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) required.</p> </li><li> <p>Sleep credential from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT), the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT-SDS or RRT-SDS) or the American Board of Sleep Medicine (RST) required.</p> </li><li> <p>3 years of experience required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Enroll/complete ASTEP in 60 days; RST, CPSGT, or RPSGT in one year (if CPSGT, must obtain RPSGT within three years).</p> </li><li> <p>BLS required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) OR Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) with sleep credential (CRT-SDS) OR Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep credential (RRT-SDS)</p> </li><li> <p>Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) OR Registered Polysomnographic Technologist OR Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)</p> </li><li> <p>Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal</p> </li><li> <p>Act 33 with renewal</p> </li><li> <p>Act 34 with renewal</p> </li><li> <p>Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal</p> </li></ul> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p>
