<p>Assist a faculty member in the School of Counseling, Higher Education, Leadership & Foundations with new and continuing research projects in higher education and student affairs.</p> <p>Career Readiness Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Career & Self-Development </li><li>Communication </li><li>Critical Thinking </li><li>Leadership </li><li>Professionalism </li><li>Assist a faculty member with a variety of research activities, including literature reviews, data collection, data analysis, and manuscript preparation and editing. </li><li>Conduct historical case study on University of Ohio, University of North Carolina, and University of Alabama regarding acquisition of land, land purchases, and board of trustee decisions. </li><li>Ability to maintain relationships with archivists at the abovementioned institutions to ensure expedient access to special collections. </li><li>Have strong command of APA 7 to continue assisting in editing a book. </li><li>Possess knowledge and experience working with narrative inquiry methodology for coding and analysis. </li><li>Doctoral student in good standing in Leadership Studies, Higher Education, or related discipline </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills </li><li>Prior research methods coursework (master's and/or doctoral) </li><li>Ability to work independently </li><li>Ability to proofread and edit accurate and quickly </li></ul>
