<p>Compliance Field Engineer (Hybrid Schedule)</p> <p>04/13/2026</p> <p>Locations: East Berlin, Connecticut; Springfield, Massachusetts; Westwood, Massachusetts; South Hooksett, New Hampshire; Manchester, New Hampshire</p> <p>Eversource will not offer immigration-related sponsorship for this position. This includes, but is not limited to, direct company sponsorship, listing Eversource as the employer of record on immigration documents, or any work authorization that requires company involvement or documentation (e.g., H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, O-1, etc.).</p> <p>Our Team:</p> <p>Eversource is looking for an Compliance Field Engineer in Berlin, CT, Westwood, MA, Springfield, MA, Manchester/Hookset NH. to support Transmission Compliance.</p> <p>In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing activities associated with the development and management of Compliance activities related to the cyber-security, physical security, and maintenance of the Bulk Electric System.</p> <p>These activities include, but are not limited to developing and leading assessments, audits, and reviews of existing compliance, identification of performance gaps; facilitating the determination of improvement actions and tracking them through completion. Individual will work closely with the Operations staff to ensure compliance and implement process improvements. In addition, individual will track changes to applicable standards as they are approved by regulatory authorities.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems of increasing scope and complexity in both inside as well as outside the scope of typical responsibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities; decisions may affect the operations or results of the work group and may have some impact on major projects or department results.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches related to defined problems and analysis of increasing scope and complexity.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts engineering and related studies; completes non-routine engineering projects with minimal oversight with the ability to independently manage project schedules and interfaces; Possesses and applies the fundamental engineering concepts, practices and procedures; proficient in technical and analytical competencies necessary to handle assignments of increasing complexity.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains accurate records and files.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally.</p> </li></ul> <p>Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of utility power systems is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to independently develop, present and execute new projects through collaborations with other departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with power related software is preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years related experience is required. Engineering design experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Licenses & Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>Hybrid Schedule:</p> <p>Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance.
