This position reports to the Senior Director of Bankruptcy Analytics.</p> <p>Roles & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support well-defined analytical projects designed to enhance business processes </li></ul> <p>and create value throughout the department.</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain strategic and operational reporting at the request of senior </li></ul> <p>leaders and external clients.</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine and ad hoc analytical tasks to support larger-scale business </li></ul> <p>initiatives.</p> <ul> <li>Develop an understanding of key tables and field definitions in the data warehouse; </li></ul> <p>know how these fields are used in existing reporting, and be consistently able to</p> <p>create accurate queries.</p> <ul> <li>Partner with senior analysts both inside and outside of the department to articulate </li></ul> <p>more complex data needs that cannot be met through existing reporting or SQL</p> <p>queries.</p> <ul> <li>Delve into business line reporting and data cubes to obtain data, identify trends, </li></ul> <p>recognize anomalies, and inform decisions.</p> <ul> <li>Interpret data while building intuition around data requirements, aggregation, and </li></ul> <p>organization.</p> <ul> <li>Develop oral and written communication skills by soliciting feedback on project </li></ul> <p>presentations from analyst team and senior leaders.</p> <ul> <li>Communicate requirements with Business Intelligence and Business Solutions </li></ul> <p>teams when an IT solution is needed.</p> <ul> <li>Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of existing business processes, </li></ul> <p>operational metrics, and the current regulatory environment.</p> <ul> <li>Participate in team discussions designed to generate creative ideas to create value </li></ul> <p>through analytical initiatives.</p> <ul> <li>Obtain Results-driven Process Management (RPM) certification as soon as possible </li></ul> <p>upon hiring.</p> <p>Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>2-3 years similar experience required.</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced skills in Excel (charts, formulas, and macros), PowerPoint, and Visio.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent knowledge of data structures and experience working in SAS, SQL or other</p> </li></ul> <p>analytic or business reporting languages.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with Report Builder (SSRS) or Crystal Reports is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Aptitude for details coupled with organizational and project management skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Posses the ability to multi-task, respond well to pressure and deadlines, and work well</p> </li></ul> <p>individually and in a team environment.</p> <ul> <li>Flexible to changing priorities, project scopes, and deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required (analytical or quantitative field preferred such as </li></ul> <p>Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, etc.)</p> <p>Resurgent is an Equal Opportunity employer that is fueled by our diverse and inclusive work environment.
