<p>TO:ALL TEACHING AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL BROCKTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS</p> <p>FROM:Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources</p> <p>SUBJECT:21st CENTURY SITE SUPERVISORS for 2025-2026</p> <p>These positions are contingent upon grant funding and adequate student enrollment. The purpose of 21st CCLC grant programming is to support the implementation of additional learning time through out-of-school time (OST) programming. Programming is designed to help close proficiency/opportunity gaps, increase student engagement, support social and emotional learning, and promote college and career readiness and success. 21st Century Programs operate 32 weeks during the school year, Monday - Thursday for at least 2 hours each afternoon. Job sharing is allowed and encouraged.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask 2.Excellent written and verbal communication skills 3.Working knowledge of MS Word & Excel, as well as a comfort level using online software and survey tools 4.Ability to successfully collaborate with school leadership, parents and community partners 5.Willingness to be responsible for the development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of an OST program 6.Prior program supervisory experience preferred 7.Training and experience in project-based learning strongly preferred 8.Preference will be given to teachers/administrators working in a 21st Century program location (current locations: Baker, South, East, Downey & Brookfield) 9.CPR and first aid certification are required within 2 months of program start</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Work with school leadership team, and school improvement councils to identify and target students in need of OST programming 2.Flexibility regarding the district endorsed instructional models: remote, hybrid, and full face-to-face teaching 3.Collaborate with school leadership to create programs that will improve reading and math skills, enrich academics and help parents participate in their child's education 4.Assist in the recruitment of students and teachers 5.Plan/hold one 30-minute meeting per week as needed 6.Collect data for program evaluation and other information as required by the MA DESE 7.Supervise program operations (a maximum of 4 afternoons/week/school) 8.Check in/out each shift using the SOMROLI payroll system and maintain a record of work hours. 9.Log into the SOMROLI payroll system to review assigned staff hours and make edits as appropriate. Prepare and submit timely payrolls and maintain records. 10.Determine program supply needs, maintain a supply inventory, and return non-consumables at the end of the year. 11.Responsible for coordinating monthly staff meetings, trainings, and planning sessions 12.Responsible for coordinating services and maintaining communication between the day school and after school program, parents, and community agencies 13.Other duties as deemed necessary by the district coordinator and the director of Community Schools</p> <p>FUNDING SOURCE: Community Schools COMPENSATION: According to Contract</p>
