<p>Wor-Wic Community College continuously accepts applications for part-time instructors to teach courses in our Gifted and Talented Summer Scholars Program which includes subjects in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Music, and Culinary skills. </p> <p>Part-time instructors in this category teach courses that support the Gifted and Talented Summer Scholars program during scheduled summer weeks. </p> <p>The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with this position.</p> <ul> <li>Creates and manages an environment conducive to the student's learning of continuing education and workforce development course material </li><li>Prepares and uses age-appropriate course syllabi  </li><li>Attends required annual training  </li><li>Meets all scheduled classes </li><li>Maintains student classroom records and reports absences  </li><li>Assists with continuing education and workforce development registration when appropriate  </li><li>Submits copies of course syllabi, required supply lists, and any other course-related documents to the CEWD Director. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the dean of continuing education and workforce development </li></ul> <p>This is an applicant POOL. Applications will be reviewed, and positions will be filled based on department needs.  This is not necessarily a job posting for a currently vacant position.
