<p>Shift: Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.</p> <p>As the Trainer - Facility Operations, you will be responsible for establishing structured accountability through the standardization of processes, ensuring consistent and comprehensive training for all operations associates. You will be accountable for ensuring compliance with audits, safety standards and company policies while contributing to the development of processes and procedures. You will report directly to the Operations Manager.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates and delivers safety-focused training for new and existing employees, including onboarding, refresher training, and job-specific instruction. </li><li>Responsible for implementing and reinforcing new safety training programs, ensuring employees understand and comply with updated safety standards. </li><li>Administers, monitors, and documents all safety-related training events; conducts one-on-one and group training sessions. </li><li>Utilizes, understands, and is proficient with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); ensures all employees are certified, recertified, and consistently following updated safety procedures. </li><li>Conducts daily/weekly safety walks, inspections, and audits to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, or process gaps; ensures timely corrective actions. </li><li>Assists with identifying potential safety risks or bottlenecks and collaborates with leadership to resolve issues promptly. </li><li>Reviews key safety metrics and trends to ensure teams are meeting safety expectations and operational requirements. </li><li>Provides recommendations to leadership regarding safety improvements, employee behaviors, and corrective action needs. </li><li>Establishes and monitors safety performance standards and communicates key data to management. </li><li>Collaborates with supervisors, HR, and operations leaders to reinforce safety expectations during training and daily operations. </li><li>Assists with audit compliance and participates in Gemba / observation walks focused on safety and process accuracy. </li><li>Responsible for conducting and documenting all required safety inspections in accordance with OSHA and company safety requirements. </li><li>Supports the development and documentation of updated safety processes, procedures, and training materials. </li><li>Performs other safety and operational duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Degree or Equivalent required </li><li>Associates' Degree (U.S.)/College Diploma (Canada) - Business or related field preferred </li><li>4 years of warehouse experience required. </li><li>2 years operational or administrative experience </li><li>1 year experience in a training role. </li><li>1 years required, 2 years preferred delivering training material and communications, formally or informally </li><li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard identification, and risk prevention strategies. </li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels. </li><li>Experience implementing and reinforcing training programs. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail. </li><li>Proficiency with reporting, documentation, and safety-related tracking tools. </li><li>Ability to drive a proactive safety culture; exhibits model safety behaviors </li><li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong time management skills and ability to adapt to changing situations </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions </li><li>Ability to travel 0% - 25% </li></ul> <p>Working Environment: Warehouse - Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally well ventilated and well lighted. Warehouse employees may be exposed to all kinds of weather and may be required to wear protective clothing. Operates heavy equipment. Strict safety regulations may be required.</p> <p>Physical Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. </li><li>Work may require excessive bending or stooping. </li><li>Employee required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day. </li><li>Employee required to use hand tools. </li><li>Employee uses heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.). </li></ul>
