<p>Summary:</p> <p>The Production Material Handler will be responsible for operating a hilo to transport raw materials, WIP (work in progress), and finished goods within our manufacturing facility.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, or other powered industrial trucks) in a safe and efficient manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Supply production lines with necessary materials and remove completed product to designated staging areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Load and unload trailers as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately track inventory movements using scanners or paperwork.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues or maintenance needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with general material handling or production tasks as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid forklift certification (or ability to become certified through company training).</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to safety and detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer or scanner skills are a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.</p> </li></ul>
