This role is primarily responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing Sunquest and other third-party laboratory systems to ensure reliable and efficient laboratory operations.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li>Configure, build, and maintain Sunquest LIS applications and related systems to support laboratory workflows and ensure data integrity. </li><li>Provide tiered support for production issues, system enhancements, and regular upgrades to Sunquest LIS and related applications. </li><li>Collaborate with laboratory leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to evaluate needs, recommend, and implement solutions to improve quality, efficiency, and patient care outcomes. </li><li>Participate in new system implementations, workflow redesign, and integration projects involving Sunquest LIS or related laboratory systems. </li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot data interfaces and integration points between Sunquest LIS and other third-party laboratory applications. </li><li>Assist with system patching, Windows registry updates, and other routine security activities as required to maintain system integrity. </li><li>Document system changes, workflows, and standard operating procedures for Sunquest LIS. </li><li>Mentor and provide guidance to other DTS team members, particularly in Sunquest LIS-related workflows, configuration, and applications support. </li><li>Maintain compliance with all applicable IT, security, and healthcare regulations. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Need</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Laboratory Science, or a related field - Required </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in a related field - Preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Laboratory Information Systems or clinical applications - Required </li><li>Experience with Sunquest LIS or similar laboratory systems - Preferred </li><li>Strong understanding of clinical laboratory workflows, data integrity, and relevant regulatory requirements. </li></ul> <p>Keywords</p> <ul> <li>Sunquest LIS, Laboratory Information Systems, LIS, Clinical Application Analyst, Application Support, Healthcare IT, Laboratory Informatics, Systems Integration, Clinical Informatics, Lab IT. </li></ul>
