Clinical RD I identifies patients with malnutrition, increased protein and/or energy needs or other medical problems affecting nutrition status. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice policies/guidelines; evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness and outcomes of the plan of care; ensuring continuity of care throughout the provision of care process; providing nutrition education to patient and family members on behaviors to accomplish patient goals; conducting educational programs for hospital staff and the community, as needed. Participate in performance improvement projects as assigned.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Complete the minimum education requirements set forth by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. </li><li>Entry level applied knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy for an adult population. </li><li>Experience in acute healthcare facilities is preferred. </li><li>General knowledge of Electronic Medical Record programs, nutrient analysis software and MS office applications or similar. </li></ul> <p>License/Certification/Registration Requirements</p> <p>Must be a Registered Dietitian; registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as defined by the California Business and Professions Code and be current with CDR portfolio.</p> <p>Ages of Patients Served- This position will serve all age groups.</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$51.60 - $68.61 USD Hour</p> <p>The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
