<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Supervises area within Loan Operations department. Mentors and provides guidance to Operations staff on handling transactions.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the training and supervision of assigned staff and exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations. </li><li>Monitors daily workload levels in an effort to provide assistance and back up. </li><li>Ensures that loans are documented according to the bank's policies and procedures and federal regulations. </li><li>Directs staff for collateral perfection duties to ensure liens are filed and maintained according to the credit approval. </li><li>May oversee management of the loan documentation exceptions. </li><li>May conduct collateral audits, as needed. </li><li>Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position. </li><li>Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements. </li></ul> <p>NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <p>Perform all other duties as assigned.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE/SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Two (2) to five (5) years or more of related experience preferred. </li><li>Prior supervisory experience preferred; including counseling, mentoring, training. </li><li>Good PC skills--proficiency in Word and Excel essential, understanding of database software. </li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. </li><li>Ability to strictly follow policy guidelines and lead others to do the same. </li><li>Ability to assess and revise workflows for best streamlined practices. </li><li>Good communication and organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>Bachelors Degree preferred.</p> <p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Ability to travel to all locations as well as ability to travel overnight, as needed for meetings, projects, seminars, etc.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
