This role is essential in managing a portfolio of major and planned gift prospects, developing long-term donor relationships, and supporting our philanthropic goals for the Mountain Plains region. This position is hybrid eligible.</p> <p>Pay: $95k-105k annually, dependent on experience</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Several Healthcare plans to choose from, dental (includes adult and child orthodontia) and vision </li><li>15 days of earned PTO your first year, 12 company holidays + 2 floating holidays. </li><li>403b + match </li><li>Early close Fridays (3 paid hours each Friday) </li><li>Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours) </li><li>Paid Time off between Christmas and New Year's Holiday </li><li>Paid Volunteer Time </li><li>Paid Parental Leave and Care Giver Leave </li><li>Paid Life Insurance </li><li>Free Employee Assistance Plan </li><li>Free Basic Dental </li><li>Pet Insurance options </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain a pipeline of major gift prospects, managing the full donor relationship lifecycle from identification through solicitation and stewardship. </li><li>Develop and apply best practices in major gift and endowment fundraising and share experience with colleagues regarding success and difficulties. </li><li>Conduct regular, personal, and meaningful interactions with priority donors and prospects through written communications, events, face-to-face meetings, and conversation. </li><li>Work with staff, Philanthropy Committee and other key volunteers to recommend and implement appropriate cultivation and solicitation strategies. </li><li>Utilize all appropriate research tools to identify prospect interest and giving potential. </li><li>Collaborate with department colleagues to ensure a seamless transition for identified donors and prospects into major gifts development. </li><li>Collaborate with National Philanthropy Team. </li><li>Manage financial data and constituent information using Raiser's Edge database. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. </li><li>Five (5) years of experience in individual major gift giving fund development. </li><li>Proven success in managing volunteer leadership and fundraising efforts. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and donor research tools. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in planned giving and capital campaigns. </li><li>Familiarity with Raiser's Edge database management. </li></ul> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage high-net-worth donors. </li><li>Independent problem-solving, creativity, and initiative. </li></ul> <p>We are committed to fostering an inclusive and mission-driven culture.
