Join us and become part of an inclusive team.</p> <p>Client Overview:</p> <p>Our client, a well-established real estate firm specializing in residential and commercial properties across New York City, is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Leasing Assistant to join their team. The Leasing Assistant will play an essential role in supporting leasing operations and maintaining strong tenant and client relations. This is a temp opportunity with the potential to transition to permanent based on performance and business needs. If you are a motivated and reliable Leasing Assistant looking to join a respected NYC real estate team, this could be the right opportunity to take the next step in your career.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$25/hr - $30/hr</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Leasing Assistant will support daily leasing operations, handle tenant communications, assist with documentation, and coordinate showings and scheduling for leasing agents. The ideal Leasing Assistant is customer-service oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced real estate environment. This role provides a great opportunity to grow within a respected real estate firm.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Leasing Assistant:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a point of contact for prospective tenants, providing information and scheduling tours. </li><li>Prepare and process lease agreements, applications, renewals, and supporting documentation. </li><li>Maintain accurate records and databases of listings, leads, and tenant files. </li><li>Support leasing agents by coordinating appointments, key access, and open house logistics. </li><li>Respond to email and phone inquiries in a timely and professional manner. </li><li>Assist with marketing efforts, including listing updates and creating promotional materials. </li><li>Track lease expirations and support retention efforts by sending timely renewal notices. </li><li>Coordinate move-in/move-out procedures with tenants and building staff. </li><li>Assist with internal reporting and compiling data for management. </li><li>Take on special projects and administrative tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Leasing Assistant:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in a real estate, leasing, or administrative support role. </li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems. </li><li>Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, client-facing environment. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Leasing Assistant:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with New York City rental regulations and leasing practices. </li><li>Experience using Yardi, AppFolio, or similar property management platforms. </li><li>Prior experience coordinating leasing or tenant relations in a high-traffic office. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree is required. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
