Responds to Code Blues and Code AMI's and assists with other non-invasive procedures as necessary. Coordinates patient requisitions with test copies in order to ensure proper department revenue tracking.</p> <p>This position requires flexibility of hours.</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>High School Graduate</p> <p>Junior college course for EKG technician preferred.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:</p> <p>Six months in non-invasive cardiology preferred</p> <p>Demonstration of competency in performing EKGs as outlined by Competency Validation Checklist at 30 days.</p> <p>LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Required:</p> <p>Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association</p> <p>SKILLS:</p> <p>Arrhythmia recognition skills preferred.</p> <p>Worker Type:</p> <p>Per Diem</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Evenings</p>
