<p>The City of Claremont Police Department is seeking certified and non-certified, career oriented, intellectual, motivated applicants to join our team as Police Officers. The selected candidates must be able to complete the NH Police Standards & Training Full Time Academy if non-certified, possess excellent verbal & written communication skills and pass a thorough background investigation including, but not limited to, a polygraph, physical & drug screen.</p> <p>The City of Claremont Police Department is a forward-thinking, community-minded agency with room for advancement and growth. Currently, officers work 12-hour shifts with two weekends off per month. Shifts rotate every three months giving officers exposure to all hours of policing.
