With its historic charm, breathtaking natural setting, and elevated guest experiences, the Equinox offers a unique opportunity for a sales leader who thrives in an independent, hands-on environment and values community, authenticity, and exceptional service.</p> <p>The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading the Sales and Marketing efforts at a resort property, including team leadership, strategic planning, and multi-channel campaign execution. This leader will be creative, adaptable, and data-driven, with the ability to motivate and mentor a seasoned Sales, Marketing, and Conference Services team. A strong understanding of luxury travel trends, digital engagement, and guest experience design is essential.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage and achieve team goals for both Group and Transient segments across Business Travel, Leisure, and Events.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and drive cohesive sales and marketing strategies, including exceptional marketing plans, content calendars, and targeted campaigns.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the resort's digital strategy - optimizing paid media, SEO/SEM, social, and website performance to increase bookings and brand visibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Create compelling on-property promotions and signature programming in collaboration with operations and guest experience teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with PR and creative agencies to amplify special events, seasonal campaigns, and media exposure aligned with the resort's luxury positioning.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze industry trends, STR data, and market intelligence to uncover new opportunities and protect market share.</p> </li><li> <p>Play an active role in direct sales - managing key accounts, leading site visits, and maintaining strong client relationships.</p> </li><li> <p>Represent the Equinox brand at local and national sales trips, trade shows, and tourism partnerships.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the development of the resort's annual sales, marketing, and revenue management business plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with revenue management to develop yield strategies that meet budget, forecast, and growth targets.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning within the Sales, Marketing, and Conference Services departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Enhance community presence through active engagement in local organizations, chambers, and tourism boards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior-level resort sales and marketing role; independent and luxury resort experience strongly preferred. </li><li>Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team to meet and exceed business goals. </li><li>Deep expertise in sales strategy, revenue optimization, digital marketing, brand development, and team leadership. </li><li>Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze data and drive results across multiple segments. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel; Delphi experience highly preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with clients, internal teams, and ownership stakeholders. </li><li>Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>A passion for hospitality, community connection, and luxury guest experiences. </li><li>Up to 10% travel required </li></ul> <p>Why Equinox Resort?</p> <ul> <li> <p>A rare opportunity to lead the commercial vision of one of Vermont's most iconic independent luxury resorts.</p> </li><li> <p>A people-first culture rooted in local pride, guest satisfaction, and sustainable success.</p> </li><li> <p>Competitive salary, benefits, and incentive structure</p> </li><li> <p>Relocation assistance available.</p> </li></ul> <p>#keyexec</p> <p>Compensation Range</p> <p>The compensation for this position is $120,000.00/Yr. - $130,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.</p>
