<p>Primary Function:</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to implement and maintain accurate inventory control within the warehouse. This will be done through process discipline, daily cycle counts, rack audits, training, and SOP implementation. Perform transactions and adjustments as needed within the agreed parameters, while ensuring efficient flow of material to support manufacturing operations which achieve Lex goals for on time customer delivery while maximizing inventory turns and optimizing inventory.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform Cycle counts on all "A" items on a monthly basis, "B" items on a quarterly basis, "C" items on a six-month basis, and "D" items on an annual basis </li><li>Expectation is to level load counts weekly to ensure all items are counted in the above schedule through use of M2M </li><li>Pre-count/Rack audit ahead of annual full physical count to ensure readiness </li><li>Transactional Discipline, Counting Discipline, and Physical Discipline are the main focus for creating the Transaction manual </li><li>Assist Material Coordinator with inventory reconciliation </li><li>Implement and use the training matrix </li><li>Part of the implementation and testing team for the new QR system for all three sites </li><li>Utilize the new QR system and verify transactions are happening as expected, Q2 2025 implementation </li><li>Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained at 97% by end of 2025 </li><li>Support the 8 consignment suppliers with on-site cycle count verification, when requested </li><li>Perform cycle count on consigned parts bi-weekly to ensure accuracy </li><li>Root Cause and corrective action on any adjustments over $2,500 by part number </li><li>Ensure inventory movements are performed accurately and follow the process </li><li>Update SOP's as needed for Inventory transactions, adjustments, moves, issues, and receipts. This includes the transaction manual implementation, by situation. </li><li>Track inventory accuracy weekly and submit report to Director of Supply and Finance by COB on Fridays and post on a specified network drive, with a consolidated monthly report at the end of each month </li><li>Support Material Handlers with assistance as needed </li><li>Ensure component transfer process from Receiving occurs daily and dock is clear nightly </li><li>Support ISO 9001& AS-9100 audits as needed </li><li>Weekly Dashboard of transactions, adjustments, and accuracy of cycle counts </li><li>Total On Hand Inventory and Inventory Turns </li><li>Approvals on transactions in excess of $2,500 by item </li><li>Measure inventory accuracy </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>U.S. Citizen is required; this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred - must have a High school diploma or GED or any other equivalent diploma needs to have at least 2 years of more experience working with a manufacturing company (electrical parts experience is preferable) </li><li>Previous experience preferred, Warehouse, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain to include 1+ years of material handling and inventory management experience </li><li>ERP/MRP experience (i.e. Made2Manage, Epicore, SAP, Oracle) </li><li>Experience in - MRP systems functionality, transactions, reporting, and research </li><li>Lot control experience preferred </li><li>Thorough understanding and experience in Bills of Materials, routings, cycle count, the function of inventory control and order processing </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Word </li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish </li></ul> <p>Abilities/skills required</p> <ul> <li>ERP/MRP experience (i.e. Made2Manage, Epicore, SAP, Oracle) </li><li>Lot Control experience </li><li>Experienced - Supply Chain, supplier relationships, project management, contracts, and cost reductions </li><li>Good communication skills both written and verbal </li><li>Good attention to detail </li><li>Process oriented, high level sense of urgency </li><li>Good business sense </li><li>Ability to be adaptable & flexible to changing workplace priorities </li><li>Research in the ERP system for manual adjustments. </li><li>Practical problem solving with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. </li><li>Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail. </li><li>Demonstrated, effective interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Flexibility to adapt to changes in the work environment and work assignments. </li></ul> <p>EOE/AA /Vets/Disabled Employer</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to assist individuals with disabilities</p> <p>who can perform the position's essential job functions.</p> <p>Lex is a Federal Contractor</p>
