<p>UPMC Children's Hospital is currently seeking a Casual Data Coordinator. This position offers flexible hours and no weekends/holidays required.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Enters and verifies data, when applicable. Collect and input test results. </li><li>Troubleshoot problems/seek assistance to resolve reporting errors and database problems. </li><li>Develop guidelines and manuals for efficient operations and maintenance of databases. </li><li>Assist with programming tasks. </li><li>Maintain database(s) associated with data collected by the department </li><li>Write data queries and create reports. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality of information. </li><li>Responds to inquiries regarding data. </li><li>Provide periodic reports as requested. </li><li>Assist other staff in collecting, verifying, maintaining and reporting of information. </li><li>Maintain working knowledge of respective department and/or center. </li><li>Work with Research/QI staff to assemble and refine data sets. </li><li>Develop thorough and complete documentation of all reports/queries/data sets. </li><li>Assist with development and implementation of specific professional education programs to meet department needs. </li><li>High school diploma required. </li><li>1 year of experience in a health care facility. </li><li>Strong Microsoft Office skills required. </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <ul> <li>Clearances with renewal: </li><li>31, 33, 34, & 73 </li></ul>
