<p>Your responsibilities</p> <p>Position Summary: Set up and operate induction hardener for hardening raceways and gears on various sizes of bearing rings.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Through monitoring and measurement assure products meet customer expectations </li><li>Populate any quality related documentation necessary </li><li>Assure manfuacturing and quality tools / materials are in calibration </li><li>Load, unload and locate ring on the hardener with crane, using clamps, blocks, shims and other holding devices </li><li>Position and locate the specified inductor to the work piece. Set tooling, speeds and feeds </li><li>Obtain inspection and approval of set-up and / or first piece. </li><li>Detect and report defective material, set up or operating difficulties </li><li>Mag particle or dye penetrant check any features hardened </li><li>Maintain quench condition / concentration and report all necessary quality checks - employ, clean, refill as required </li><li>Maintain eqipument and work area in clean and orderly condition </li></ul> <p>Skills, Abilities and Education:</p> <ul> <li>Effective communication and active listening skills required </li><li>Previous machining experience and practices required </li><li>Blueprint and GD&T knowledge is required </li><li>High School Diploma or GED </li></ul> <p>Export Control: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology.
