The Amex Offers team develops strategic marketing partnerships that deliver unique differentiated value for Merchants and Advertisers to reach high-spending Card Members in the digital channels where they engage with American Express, delivering deep insights and maximizing results. Through this complete marketing solution, we can help advertisers get laser-focused on who our mutual customers are, what they want, and how we can meet their needs.</p> <p>How will you make an impact in this role?</p> <p>The Senior Manager, Sales Operations will be responsible for centralizing and optimizing key activities across the sales lifecycle for Amex Offers Digital Media (AODM) sales Colleagues. This individual will work closely with Sales & Success teams to develop standardized procedures and drive process excellence that support growth of the program and deliver a best-in-class Amex Offers experience for our Merchants. The Senior Manager of Sales Operations will also be responsible defining our governance strategy in close partnership with legal, Conduct Risk, CRM Product Teams and more.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Merchant Agreements and Governance: Partner closely with legal teams to enhance and maintain Merchant agreements including Insertion Orders and data-sharing activities </li><li>Salesforce: Drive consistent and widespread use of Salesforce for key activities across the sales cycle; partner with product teams to customize and enhance MerchantForce to meet needs of AODM Sales teams </li><li>Sales Governance: Develop business monitoring and testing procedures to ensure adherence to enterprise policies, mitigate conduct risk and protect brand integrity </li><li>Training: Develop and deliver robust training program for Amex Offers Digital Media Colleagues across tools, processes, compliance requirements as well as skills and best practice sharing </li><li>New Hire Onboarding: Evolve onboarding process for Amex Offers Digital Media including conducting live trainings, enhancing resources and developing mentoring program </li><li>Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and refine processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness; Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in key sales activities </li><li>Central Communications: Act as central point of contact and distribution method for team communications and updates across the COE and key business partners </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in sales operations/enablement, sales governance or a related role. </li><li>Strong project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional partners; PMP certification a plus </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; exceptional presentation skills and ability to develop trainings and updates for senior leadership and Sales teams </li><li>Experience developing governance and testing procedures related to Sales Conduct </li><li>Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (i.e. SalesForce) </li><li>Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and manage through ambiguity and rapid change. </li><li>People Leadership experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits</p> <p>The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
