<ul> <li>Located at Bellin College located at 3201 Eaton Road in Green Bay, WI 54311 </li><li>Limited Term 0.1 FTE - Variable Hours & Days </li></ul> <p>Position Summary:</p> <ul> <li>The Science Teaching Assistant is responsible for facilitating science labs for students, as directed by the course instructor. This position requires the student to be actively enrolled in a program at Bellin College. </li></ul> <p>Key Duties and Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Facilitates sections for science labs, as directed by the course instructor </li><li>Works with faculty to understand academic content and teaching techniques to apply content in lab settings for students </li><li>Assists with a variety of projects as delegated or as appropriate to the position </li><li>Promotes effective and positive working relationships with internal and external customers </li><li>Participates in the College-wide efforts related to continuous quality improvement </li><li>Exemplifies the College mission, vision, values, and customer service standards </li><li>Complies with all College policies and procedures </li><li>Shows support of students, other faculty, and staff of the College </li><li>Completes activities/tasks in an accountable and timely manner </li><li>Utilizes Bellin College resources appropriately </li><li>Demonstrates a high standard of professional conduct and practice that students may emulate </li><li>Respects confidentiality of students, especially pertaining to FERPA regulations </li><li>Facilitates review sessions for courses when necessary </li><li>Works with faculty to understand academic content and teaching techniques to apply content in lab settings for students </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned or as appropriate to the position </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>An earned bachelor's degree in the health sciences or similar field of study. The student must remain in good standing while employed. </li><li>Experience as a teaching assistant or tutor is preferred, but not necessary </li><li>Knowledge of academic content related to one's teaching assistant assignment </li><li>Willingness to work with students to facilitate learning objectives </li><li>Effective communication skills </li><li>Understands confidentiality and its importance </li><li>Dependable and prompt </li><li>Schedule flexibility </li><li>Computer/Technology competent </li></ul> <p>Apply Now</p>
