Successful applicants will work with AMD's customers, partners, executives, hardware engineers, software developers, business development and sales team to bring to life the world's fastest clusters for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. You will be responsible for planning, driving, and reporting on joint cluster planning, deployment, tuning, and management with top CSPs and data centers.</p> <p>The Person</p> <p>The right candidate will have an outstanding track record of delivering cluster deployments, strong program management fundamentals, and exceptional communication skills.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Set functional and performance requirements with customers </li><li>Plan and drive cluster management setup and network performance tuning with support from technical leads </li><li>Identify potential bottlenecks, mitigate risks, and ensure high availability and reliability </li><li>Act as the bridge between technical teams and leadership, providing crisp, clear updates and ensuring alignment </li><li>Own and nurture the technical relationship with key Cloud Service Providers and Data Centers </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of cluster management, ideally for artificial intelligence (AI) or high-performance computing (HPC) </li><li>Leadership of complex infrastructure projects with a focus on scalability and reliability </li><li>Familiarity with network, storage, compute, and AI models </li><li>Familiarity with orchestration layers (Kubernetes) and containerization (Docker) </li><li>Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, drive alignment, and manage competing priorities </li><li>Proven ability to successfully engage with customers, translate technical needs into deployment strategies, and foster long-term partnerships </li></ul> <p>Academic Credentials</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar </li><li>Formal Project Management education, PMP certified ideal but not required </li></ul> <p>Location</p> <p>Primary location Seattle, WA but would flexible, including remote for the right situation</p> <p>#LI-EV1</p> <p>#LI-HYBRID</p> <p>Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.</p> <p>AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
