<p>Position Title: Radiology Technologist</p> <p>FLSA Status: Exempt (Full -Time); Non-Exempt (Part-Time and Call-In)</p> <p>Reports To: Director of Clinical Support</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Produces x-ray images by performing x-ray procedures requested by the physician using radiology equipment. Follows established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety. Maintains records and files and assists with other related duties.</p> <p>Starting wage: $26.63/hour.</p> <p>The posted wage is the current starting wage for this position. Actual wage is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience and qualifications for this position. Teamwork - Work together for success.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Position patients correctly for radiological procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate x-ray machines according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.</p> </li><li> <p>Takes x-ray images and processes quality x-rays (i.e. clearly identified x-rays, correct x-rays, clear x-rays). Review and evaluate images to determine quality and if they need to be redone.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs the right diagnostic procedure.</p> </li><li> <p>Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains daily log of treatments.</p> </li><li> <p>Respects patient's rights, preferences and privacy.
