<p>IT Intern</p> <p>Location: Warren, MI 48089</p> <p>Position Type: Part- Time</p> <p>Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT intern to join our IT team. The intern will support day-to-day operations, primarily focusing on technical support, asset management and inventory organization. This hands-on internship is an excellent opportunity to gain IT experience and develop a strong foundation in hardware, software and service support.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with resolving IT support tickets and user service requests. </li><li>Document issue resolutions accurately and update records in the ticketing system. </li><li>Perform a physical inventory of all IT assets including laptops, desktops and network equipment. </li><li>Record detailed asset information such as serial numbers, physical condition and current location. </li><li>Identify damaged or obsolete equipment and log it for appropriate repair, replacement or disposal. </li><li>Track the status of items undergoing repair or awaiting disposal. </li><li>Organize equipment and supplies based on function and usage frequency. </li><li>Maintain clean, accessible and logically structured storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval and deployment of IT assets. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years old. </li><li>Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science or related field. </li><li>Excellent communication and documentation skills </li><li>Basic understanding of computer hardware, software and troubleshooting principles. </li><li>Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office. </li></ul>
