<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking an entry level systems engineer to join our team of diverse Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) team. The Associate Engineer will participate in a 1-year Engineering Rotational Program (ERP), spending approximately 2 months on each team, supporting short-term projects, participating in classroom and on the job training, and developing skills related to PNT SE&I.</p> <p>The PNT SE&I Team provides Space Systems Command (SSC) specialized engineering, analysis, planning and execution in support of Global Positioning System (GPS) Programs of Record (PoRs) and the PNT Enterprise in El Segundo, California. The Associate Engineer will support the following:</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring effective requirements integration across space and ground, hardware and software, and all other aspects of systems and organizations within the Enterprise. </li><li>Maintaining the technical baseline, including identifying and documenting system specification and interface requirement traceability to sell-off verification and test events. </li><li>Modeling and simulating technical requirements and functionality across space, ground, and user equipment to help the government make system decisions. </li><li>Interacting with the prime contractor and government leads to ensure that all system requirements and interfaces are consistent and valid across the Enterprise. </li><li>Supporting the customer in defining, capturing, and maintaining the technical, schedule, and cost risk data throughout the system lifecycle, developing risk mitigation courses of action, assessing impacts of risks and proposed changes, and verification tracking to ensure the developer and source requirements are adequately verified. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, Math, Physics, or similar. </li><li>Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance. </li><li>0-2 years of professional experience required. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience writing and delivering technical documents and briefings. </li><li>Expected Graduation Date Spring/Summer 2025. </li><li>Internship experience. </li></ul> <p>Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000.
