No</p> <p>If set to YES, then this position has the authority (delegated) to hire, terminate, discipline, promote or effectively recommend such to manager.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Verifies transport information from escort dispatcher to effectively plan route and keeps log of travel activities. </li><li>Transports patients as requested in a timely fashion. </li><li>Identifies patient by checking identity information and medical charts to ensure patient has been brought to correct area of hospital. </li><li>Communicates effectively to patient purpose and method of transfer using transfer equipment. </li><li>Utilizes proper transfer techniques to ensure patient safety following CH guidelines and procedures. </li><li>Transfers medication in tampered-proof bag when applicable. </li><li>Self-tests transport equipment to ensure safe handling and proper function.
