As a key player, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes and fixtures related to heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems in commercial structures. This is your chance to work with a team that values quality, safety, and professional growth!</p> <p>Pay & Schedule:</p> <p>Pay Rate: $28-$34 per hour</p> <p>Shift: 1st Shift</p> <p>Employment Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Study building plans to determine work aids required and the sequence of installations. </li><li>Inspect structures to identify obstructions to prevent damage during installation. </li><li>Mark positions for pipes and connections, cut openings in walls/floors, and assemble pipe systems. </li><li>Install valves, fittings, and pipes made of various materials such as iron, steel, brass, and plastic. </li><li>Perform tasks such as welding, brazing, and soldering to join pipes and fittings. </li><li>Install and repair plumbing fixtures, including sinks, water heaters, hot water tanks, and water softeners. </li><li>Conduct preventative maintenance, inspect drainage systems, and perform leak tests. </li><li>Manage inventory, maintain tools and equipment, and ensure the shop area is organized. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair backflow devices and perform silver soldering on copper. </li><li>Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times. </li></ul> <p>Employee Benefits:</p> <p>This direct hire role offers a comprehensive benefits package provided by our client, including paid training and development opportunities, a 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, PTO accrual, and paid holidays.
