<p>The Transportation Safety Manager is responsible for developing and training current and future Bus Drivers and Bus Monitors.</p> <p>At Community Teamwork our employees enjoy best-in-class benefits to support their physical, financial and emotional wellness.</p> <p>We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Starting at $26.00 per hour. </li><li>Casual work environment </li><li>4 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) </li><li>Medical - </li><li>Dental </li><li>Vision </li><li>Paid Life Insurance </li><li>Tuition reimbursement up to $5000 per year </li><li>12 paid holidays </li><li>Paid sick leave </li><li>Career advancement and professional development </li><li>5% contribution to your 401K whether you participate on your own or not. </li><li>Great co-workers and a great mission, supportive environment with an outstanding Community Action Agency </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Train Bus Drivers and Bus Monitors on the policies and procedures of monitoring and driving responsibilities, including bus evacuation training and the process of obtaining CDL licensing for drivers. </li><li>Maintain Driver/Monitor Training Records. </li><li>Develop and maintain Driver/Monitor training programs. </li><li>Schedule First Aid/CPR classes. </li><li>Schedule Bus Evacuation Training. </li><li>Maintain PQ Registry of Drivers/Monitors. </li><li>Perform observations of Drivers/Monitors. </li><li>Maintain Accident and Drug & Alcohol Logs. </li><li>Keep Drivers current on FMSCA rules. </li><li>Keep CDL Drivers current with licensing. </li><li>Follow Transportation policies and procedures as outlined. </li><li>Uphold the values of CTI Equity, Integrity, Compassion. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Pass Pre-Employment Drug Test. </li><li>Valid CDL A or B with P and S Endorsements. </li><li>2 Years of Experience in supervising Pupil Transportation. </li><li>3 Years Clear MVR of Violation/Accidents. </li><li>Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to motivate students and collaborate with others around program issues, and team teaching. </li><li>Valid Massachusetts School Bus Drivers Certificate. </li><li>Valid School Bus Driver Instructor Certificate for 2 years </li><li>Certified Passenger Safety Technician. </li><li>Pass CORI/SORI/DCF/Fingerprinting background checks. </li><li>Proficient Computer Skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and comfort learning new software and tracking systems. </li><li>Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred. </li><li>Evidence of recent Mantoux test, physical exam and MMR Vaccine </li></ul> <p>Education: High School or Equivalent</p> <p>Licensures: Valid CDL A or B with P and S endorsements</p> <p>If you are you interested in a position that will make a difference in your life and the lives of others, we encourage to apply.
