<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Mount Mary University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical Instructors to support the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Clinical faculty play a crucial role in guiding students in real-world practice settings, fostering professional growth, clinical reasoning, and compassionate patient-centered care. This role focuses exclusively on clinical teaching and supervision, with no didactic responsibilities required.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings such as Long-Term Care, Medical-Surgical, or other assigned practice areas. </li><li>Provide on-site coaching, clinical demonstrations, and real-time competency assessment. </li><li>Ensure safe, ethical, evidence-based practice aligned with course and program outcomes. </li><li>Conduct pre- and post-clinical conferences to enhance clinical reflection and judgment. </li><li>Provide timely, constructive feedback and complete required student evaluations. </li><li>Communicate effectively with clinical partners and uphold institutional and regulatory expectations. </li><li>Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learners. </li><li>Participate in required faculty onboarding and orientation </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>BSN required; MSN preferred for clinical instruction. </li><li>Unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin (or eligibility for WI licensure). </li><li>Minimum of two years of clinical practice experience in the assigned specialty area. </li><li>Prior experience precepting or teaching students is desirable. </li><li>Strong communication, professionalism, and commitment to student success. </li></ul>
